The Department of Human Sciences offers undergraduate majors which prepare students to assume professional responsibilities in a variety of career fields. The programs are designed to fulfill a unique function in preparing individuals for careers in the Human Sciences. Each program requires an internship and clinical or field experience designed to provide pre-professional and job related experiences for students.
The Department of Human Sciences offers instruction leading to the following degrees: 
  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Bachelor of Science in Child Development
The Department of Human Sciences in conjunction with the Department of Advanced Technologies offers a Bachelor of Science in Vocational and Technical Education with an endorsement in Human Sciences. Opportunities are provided for practical experience in secondary schools and businesses.
