ENDORSEMENT AREA: BIOLOGY

The Department of Biological Sciences offers "AA" endorsement in Biology as part of Master of Science in Education degree in Secondary Education. In this program a student has the option to become certified in Biological Sciences. The area of objectives for biology education are:

  1. To provide all students with knowledge of biology necessary for a career in secondary education;
  2. To provide a foundation for careers in research, industry, and the health professions;
  3. To pursue programs of study leading to other advances degrees in Biological Sciences or related areas.
