The Master of Science in Workforce Education Leadership is offered jointly through Alcorn
State University and Mississippi State University.
Courses offered only at Mississippi State may be taken through distance
education by Alcorn State students. Courses
offered only at Alcorn State may be taken through distance education by
Mississippi State students. Students
at either school must take some of their courses at the other school, usually
through distance education techniques.
ADMISSIONS:
The admissions process for this program has been designed
so the student will complete only one admissions application packet.
Therefore, it is very important that a
primary institution is marked in Section II of the application.
If ASU is marked as the primary institution, Alcorn State
admissions requirements must be met and the admissions decision will be made by
ASU. Likewise, if MSU is marked as
the primary institution, Mississippi State admissions requirements must be met
and the admissions decision will be made by MSU.
The Operations Unit at Mississippi State University will
collect the completed packets and forward a copy to the Alcorn State program
contact person. Return all forms

Financial aid forms must be completed and submitted
according to the financial aid policies at the primary institution (be sure to
mark the primary institution in Section II of the admissions application). The
primary institution is responsible for disbursing aid for all terms of
enrollment.
