ELEMENTARY EDUCATION
Department of Education and Psychology

The elementary education curriculum at Alcorn State University consists of a series of integrated, educative experiences for students preparing to teach children in the elementary schools. Basically, these experiences are obtained by way of core courses, specialized and professional education courses, clinical experiences, and directed teaching.
