Pre-Nursing CUrriculum
Department of Biological Sciences

The pre-nursing curriculum includes courses from the liberal arts and the physical, biological, social, and behavioral sciences. The pre-nursing curriculum meets the basic general education core of the University and it meets the pre-requisite courses for admission to the Upper Level courses in the Department of Baccalaureate Nursing.

All Lower Level courses that transfer to the Upper Level, Department of Baccalaureate Nursing, must reflect a grade of "C" or better for each course. The student is expected to maintain a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.00 scale. After completion of the pre-nursing curriculum, the student is eligible to apply for admission to the Upper Level, Department of Baccalaureate Nursing.
