The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers college mathematics and computer science courses which provide all students with mathematical and computational skills. In addition, advanced courses support students who want to work in one of the mathematical sciences, to enter graduate school, or to teach. Mathematics is used in all areas of modern life and a major in mathematics prepares one for many different careers even those that do not yet exist. |
