The J.D. Boyd Library Reference Department provides users with information, research, directional and recreational assistance in accessing, retrieving and interpreting the library's resources. The Reference Department is located on the main floor of the library. A librarian is available at the information desk to assist uses. Librarians provide users with information on the online public access catalog, print resources, electronic databases, interlibrary loans, and the library facility. Examples of material that are considered a part of the reference collection include: almanacs, atlases, bibliographies, dictionaries, directories, encyclopedias, indexes (print and electronic), maps, style manuals, etc.
