Library Instruction/Information Literacy Program

Library instruction is a service that provides all entering freshmen with instructions in using and locating resources. It is designed to promote research and enhance library skills. Patrons are introduced to the Library’s Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), print and electronic resources and services, as well as to basic reference sources in the library. Faculty members are also encouraged to bring their classes to the library for instruction on the print and electronic resources. Individualized and group instruction is provided to students, faculty, staff and community users.
