Value Added Activities
Table 1 shows the structured format of all value added activities that comprise the 4-year pre-professional and pre-graduate school curriculum. Once students are admitted to the 4-year program, students are required to participate in their chosen pre-professional program by attending all value-added activities, while concurrently completing and maintaining high academic standards in their chosen major. The value added activities include non-credit pre-professional and pre-graduate school courses, standardized test preparation courses, Saturday College, summer research internships, “shadowing” activities, volunteer work, site visits, and priority in ASU’s Honors residence halls, if space is available.
The following information will acquaint you with the “value added activities” that are specifically designed to help ASU students to out compete other applicants from other institutions for the limited spaces at professional and graduate schools.
