Communiversity in Action
This is to remind
students, faculty and staff about Multi-Cultural Food
Feast, an event planned for the spring semester. The tentative
date of the Feast will be April 23.
The feast would
feature foods from American communities and international
communities. This event will bring the university and community
together by providing a chance to have a taste of different
places. The university would supply the food and the students from
the different communities would supply the creativity. Besides
food and festivities there will be a learning element present:
students will prepare a presentation about their hometown and/or
country, present some art, possibly music and dance. So, actually,
in order to reflect the nature of this event in full, it could be
called a Multi-Cultural Festival and Learning Day.
International
students, faculty and staff are encouraged to supply ideas and

Students from American communities please contact Ms. Mary
Walls at the Office of Student Activities, Campus Union Building,
(601) 877-6328. Please supply the ideas and recipes by the
beginning of March, so there is enough time for planning and
preparation!
