Additionally, he/she will oversee all aspects of annual restricted giving for the institution through the Alcorn State University Foundation and seek new (or renewal) donors through personal calls, direct mail, phonathon, special events, and other fund-raising techniques. Candidate should have a valid private applicator certificate license and is able to safely handle restricted use pesticides. The Research Associate will report directly to the Principle Investigator and will assist research Scientists in all aspects of sweet potato research which involves crop rotation with Brassica, treatment applications, companion planting, data collections, and an evaluation of wireworm infested storage roots.
