     Who Can Participate?

  • Raising juniors / seniors (as of fall 2006)

Majors in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, environmental science, health science, physics, mathematics, computer science, pre-professional, animal science, nursing, psychology, nutrition & behavioral sciences. Minimum GPA 3.0. Interest in careers in biomedical sciences or medicine or any aspect that effects human health and welfare.

  • Graduate students in Biology or Biotechnology or Animal Science (must have demonstrated interest to pursue a doctorate program)

Where The Training Will Be?

  • Andhra University, Waltair, Visakhapatnam, India
  • St. John’s Medical college and Institute of Population Health and Clinical Research, St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India (Rated as one of the top ten medical institutions in India)
  • Ten (10) weeks
  • June 7-Aug 10, 2006
    $5,563 Graduate
    $4,500 Undergraduate students Includes stipend & living expenses. (Local and international travel expenses are paid separately). $900 to attend national conference in USA to present research work.
