Support Services Program Comes Back
We are pleased to announce that
the Student Support Services Program is back and in full swing for
the Spring 2006 semester! The Student Support Services Program
provides an enriching college experience while being an empowering
asset to all students who enter the program. As our continued
commitment to excellence and success, our mission is to improve
the lives of students by assisting them educationally,
financially, and socially.
As a SSS Participant, you will
receive tutorial services, career information, and engage in
cultural enrichment activities and workshops. These services are
provided free of charge to all participants. Our ultimate goal is
to provide you with the necessary services that ensure that you
achieve your academic goals.
You are invited to come to see
us today and to learn what new opportunities are available for
you. We strongly urge you to become an active Student Support
Services Participant.

Who Can Participate?
- Raising juniors / seniors (as of fall
2006)
Majors in biology,
biochemistry, chemistry, environmental science, health science,
physics, mathematics, computer science, pre-professional, animal
science, nursing, psychology, nutrition & behavioral sciences.
Minimum GPA 3.0. Interest in careers in biomedical sciences or
medicine or any aspect that effects human health and welfare.
- Graduate students in Biology or
Biotechnology or Animal Science (must have demonstrated interest
to pursue a doctorate program)

- Andhra University, Waltair, Visakhapatnam,
India
- St. John’s Medical college and Institute
of Population Health and Clinical Research, St. John’s National
Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India (Rated as one of
the top ten medical institutions in India)
- Ten (10) weeks
- June 7-Aug 10, 2006
$5,563 Graduate
$4,500 Undergraduate students Includes stipend & living
expenses. (Local and international travel expenses are paid
separately). $900 to attend national conference in USA to
present research work.
