The 26th Annual Alcorn State University Jazz Festival to Take Place on April 22, 2006

The 26th Annual Alcorn State University Jazz Festival will take place on April 22, 2006 and will feature Benny Golson Quartet.

The festival will take place at the Vicksburg Convention Center and will be celebrated along with the Riverfest in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

The jazz festival is free and open to the public.

The festival is funded in part by the Mississippi Arts Commission, the Southern Arts Federation and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The following artists will appear with Benny Golson:  Buster Williams (bass), Carl Allen (drums) and Mike Ledonne (piano).
