The Center Director will assist entrepreneurs in accessing capital and provide training and other technical assistance in identifying business opportunities, expansions and markets. Responsibilities: This position reports directly to the Center Director and will be responsible for identifying and recruiting entrepreneurs to participate in the program. The Entrepreneurship Development Specialist will assist in identifying and creating niche markets for potential goods and services produced by micro, small and medium – sized enterprises in the region. A bachelor’s degree and successful experience in entrepreneurship development will be considered for the position. Research Associate. Responsibilities: The incumbent will report directly to the Center Director and will assist in conducting business development research on best fit business enterprises for Southwest Mississippi. The Research Associate will perform literature reviews and gather empirical data to support the Centers training curriculum, marketing and other entrepreneurial initiatives. Qualifications: Applicants should possess at least a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, agribusiness or a related field.
