salary for each position are negotiable based on experience and
qualifications. Responsibilities: The successful candidates
will participate in all aspects of undergraduate education in
psychology including, but not limited to, teaching, advising,

Mississippi Rural Minority Business Development Center has

Director: Southwest Mississippi Rural Minority
Business Development Center.
Responsibilities: the incumbent will provide leadership for the
development of The Southwest Mississippi Rural Minority Business
Development Center at Alcorn State University. The Center
Director will assist entrepreneurs in accessing capital and
provide training and other technical assistance in identifying
business opportunities, expansions and markets. He/she will
provide leadership in business development, research and training

program. The incumbent will develop and conduct entrepreneurship
training activities and will assist in identifying and acquiring
resources to develop and sustain the Center. The Entrepreneurship

niche markets for potential goods and services produced by micro,
small and medium – sized enterprises in the region.
Qualifications: The successful applicant should possess at
least a master’s degree in business, agribusiness, economics,
rural/community development, entrepreneurship, or a related
field. A bachelor’s degree and successful experience in
entrepreneurship development will be considered for the position.
Research Associate.
Responsibilities: The incumbent will report directly to the
Center Director and will assist in conducting business development
research on best fit business enterprises for Southwest
Mississippi. The Research Associate will perform literature
reviews and gather empirical data to support the Centers training
curriculum, marketing and other entrepreneurial initiatives.

bachelor’s degree in business, economics, agribusiness or a

ASU Mississippi River Research Center has an immediate
opening in Watershed Biogeochemistry. The incumbent will
conceive, plan, and implement biogeochemistry research programs
emphasizing: (1) the role of biogeochemical process in connected
ecosystems of landscapes and receiving waters of the southern
Independent streams in Mississippi; (2) factors controlling
biogeochemical processes in watersheds in southwest Mississippi,
especially the Homochitto watershed; and (3) comparative related
studies such as nitrogen and phosphorus cycling and transport in
watersheds and understanding riparian, fluvial, hyporheic or
in-stream processes. The incumbent must have demonstrated
abilities to analyze, synthesize, and publish the results of
research on biogeochemistry. Interacts with, and provides
assistance to, colleagues, and peers in related aspects of the
Center’s watershed hydrology/management research. Presents
research results at scientific meetings, workshops, and seminars.
Trains students, interns, postdoctoral fellows, and/or visiting
