Multiculturalism Starts Early at Alcorn

On August 15, 2006, The Natchez Democrat posted a picture of cadet Gem Panicker 

of Chamberlain Hunt Academy performing an Indian classical dance at the Alcorn

State University Second Annual Multicultural Festival. Gem is the daughter of 

Dr. Girish K. Panicker, Director of the Conservation Research Project and

Mrs. Rani Panicker, Research Associate, Small Farm Development Center

of Alcorn State University.
