Inside: Campus News Spotlight on Excellence Communiversity News Calendar of Events Job Announcements WB Main Archive Alcorn Home	Spotlight on Excellence Naming of New Cafeteria After Dr. Clinton Bristow, Jr. Dr. Malvin Williams, Interim President, Alcorn State University, issued memorandum to the university community that reads: “Dr. Thomas Meredith, Commissioner of Higher Education, has informed me that the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning Education has approved the naming of the new cafeteria for the former president Clinton Bristow, Jr. Although President Bristow is remembered for many accomplishments during his tenure, he may be best known for his unrelenting drive for the new cafeteria. This fact, coupled with the building’s central location and the constant traffic it will host, makes this facility an appropriate choice.”
