Alcorn Hosts Annual Fall High School Senior/Community College Sophomore Day
Alcorn State University hosted its annual fall High School Senior/Community College Sophomore Day on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at the Davey L. Whitney HPER Complex. This day has been set aside to allow high school students, transfer students, parents and chaperones an opportunity to visit the campus. The visitors learnt about scholarship opportunities, financial aid, housing and extracurricular programs. ASU administrators, faculty, staff and students were on hand to answer questions and help make the visitors’ day a success.
The guests arrived by 9:00 a.m., registered and received tickets for the football game and lunch. The feature attraction, ASU vs. Alabama A&M football game, was followed by the general session and lunch.
