Scholarships for Intensive Summer
Language Learning Program
Middlebury College is offering
a competitive program of scholarships for students who attend
HBCU’s for summer 2008. They will award twelve comprehensive fee
scholarships for one summer of language study. Applicants for
this scholarship must have demonstrated a strong interest in
language study, and support of their home institution.
Middlebury College has
intensive summer immersion program for college credit in ten
languages: Arbic, Chins, French, German, Hebrew, Italian,
Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. A summer at the
Language Schools can be the ideal way to start a new language or
move quickly through the intermediate and advanced levels of
language learning. With expert in-class instruction, a multitude
of co-curricular activities in language, and close contact with
faculty and staff, we create a 24/7 learning environment supported
by Middlebury’s trademark Language Pledge. 20071115/
