The speech and theatre area offers services for students interested in speech and theatre either as an enhancement of their academic program or as a means of enriching their leisure time activity. Speech aids students in improving communication skills, expressing thoughts more clearly, and gaining confidence in front of audiences. Its purpose is to try to help students clarify ideas and to express them orally. The theatre program provides students with both practical experience in the production of plays, and historical and critical insight into the theatre as a medium of communication of ideas and emotion.
