Special Admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Applicants who have not taken the GMAT may be eligible for admission as special students for one semester. Eligibility for special student admission requires that the applicant meet one or more of the following criteria:
  1. A graduate degree in another academic discipline.
  2. Professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFA, etc.)
  3. Significant career experience.
  4. A score of 1,000 or above on the verbal and quantitative sections of the Graduate Record Exam, or an equivalent score on the Law School Admissions Test.
  5. An undergraduate GPA and/or ACT score which indicates a high probability for gaining unconditional admission.

Special students must take the GMAT during their first semester of course work and have the official scores forwarded to the School of Graduate Studies. A special student is not officially admitted to the MBA Program until a successful GMAT score is achieved. Special students must complete the admissions process for full admission to the MBA Program before commencing the next semester.

Students not eligible for special student status may enroll in foundation courses only.
