Department of Agriculture

General Agriculture prepares you for a career in farm mechanization technology, soil science, plant science, and farm management. In addition, the General Agriculture curriculum prepares you for many specialty areas of the broad field of agriculture and environmental science. These specialty areas include agribusiness sales; farm and ranch management; agricultural finance; soil conservation service; public relations for agribusiness firms, trade and government organizations, and advertising agencies; agricultural loan officer for financial institutions; park ranger; and international agriculture.
