The student pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Biology must maintain a cumulative 3.00 or better grade point average to be competitive. The program is designed to give biology majors the opportunity to fulfill all requirements to enter the professional school of his/her choice.

Upon completion of the program, and passing a departmental comprehensive examination, the student will receive a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Alcorn State University.
