Betty A Huell, Coordinator

Department of Social Sciences

A major in Sociology and Social Work allows the students to choose from three concentrations: Sociology, Social Work, or Mental Health. These include such jobs as researchers, child care worker, juvenile delinquent counselor, probation officer, hospital social worker, substance abuse counselor, mental health worker, and group home worker.

Degree Requirements (Sociology Concentration)

The following courses must also be completed with a grade of C or better: SS 309, EC307, MA 337, and EC 405.
