J. D. Boyd Library is your complete academic resource center on the campus of Alcorn State University. Located near the center of campus and across the street from the Clinton Bristow Jr. Dining Facility, the library houses circulations, reference sources, government documents, periodicals, and Instructional Media.

The Online Public Access Catalog lets patrons know exactly what’s available in the J. D. Boyd Library. The OPAC searches through the library’s general collections, special collections, reference sources and media to give patrons the best, most relevant results. When in need of more resources, students, faculty, and staff have access to several online databases. These databases are able to find from old to the most recent journals, newspaper articles, interview transcripts, pictures, stats, and other documents on an endless amount of topics. With all these resources and more, the library strives to be a cornerstone of knowledge for students, faculty, and surrounding communities.
