Computer/Information Technology Services

Computer/Information Technology Services provides a 30 station computer lab which is available to all of the university (as opposed to departments or college labs which may be/are restricted to students of the department or college). This lab is open to all ASU students, faculty, and staff with a valid Gold Card. Note: You use your ASU username and password to log in to the computers in this lab.

Printing is free of charge for library patrons. To keep this convenient service available, students are asked to limit their printing to 20 pages per session.

Important Lab Info:

  • You MUST present a valid Gold Card in order to enter the lab.
  • Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited .
  • Cell phone usage is discouraged.
  • With the advances in technology and hardware, the labs no longer have computers with "floppy disk" drives. Recovery of files from damaged CD's or "flash drives" is not possible as was sometimes the case when floppy disks were available. Therefore, a word or two of warning:
    1. Save as frequently as you can afford to lose what you've written; and,
    2. Save or backup your work to more than one storage device.

Lost and found

Items that are left in the lab are transferred to the Circulation Desk in the front entrance of the library.
