The Office of Student Records serves as official record keeper for Alcorn State University. The Office’s core mission is to assure the accuracy and preserve the privacy of student academic records. From point of student matriculation to ultimate degree conferral, and all processes in between, every request can be transacted online: transcript orders, customer service requests, class scheduling, course modifications, degree audits, etc.

The Office also serves as the university’s Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) compliance office. Under FERPA, students have the right to request to inspect and review any and all records, files, and data directly related to them.
