Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), Alcorn State University students have the right to inspect and review any and all records, files, and data directly related to them. The Office of the Registrar is Alcorn's service unit which stewards academic records and data accurately, effectively, and efficiently.
The Registrar's Office staff is available to assist you Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, students, faculty, staff, and alumni may access online resources, forms, and/or Alcorn Online Services to handle their requests. Transcript information is available at 601 877 6600.
Student account balances may be checked using online services, go.alcorn.edu, or by contacting the Bursar's Office at 601.877.6160. The University reserves the right not to issue transcripts, diplomas, degree verifications, and letters of good standing to students with outstanding account balances or holds. Students should resolve account holds by contacting the office that applied the hold.
