Alcorn Achieve Scholarship

The Alcorn Achieve scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students who complete 30-credit hours at Alcorn and earn at least a 3.3 GPA. This scholarship covers tuition, room (double only) and board, regardless of ACT/SAT scores. This scholarship is renewable for two to six semesters, providing all eligibility requirements are met (renewal recipients must maintain a 3.0 Cumulative GPA after the spring semester).

All scholarship recipients are recommended to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for Federal and/or State Aid. You can apply via the web at www.fafsa.gov. If, after filing the FAFSA, you are eligible for a Federal Pell Grant, your scholarship will be reduced by the amount of the Federal Pell Grant (reduction applies to Alcorn Achieve, President’s Excellence, Provost Scholar and Provost Diversity Scholar recipients). Also, if receiving more than one institutional scholarship, all institutional scholarships combined (including Pell amount reduction for full academic scholarships) cannot exceed the cost of tuition, room and board (plus allocated books/stipends). Institutional Scholarships includes Academic, Band, Music or any scholarship deemed as institutional.  If your housing status change from what you submitted on the application, please notify financial aid immediately.

Academic Scholarships are awarded for Fall and Spring ONLY.
