The Division of Finance, Administration, Services, and Operations (FASO) has a number of units that offer an array of professional development opportunities for University employees on a number of topics from three of our units — Human Resources, Finance, and the Center for Information Technology Services (CITS).

Human Resources

Human Resources, in tandem with their typical support duties to the University, offers a number of workshops and informational sessions on a number of HR-related topics such as professionalism, physical & mental health, HR processes, communication, and more. Finance

FASO’s Finance unit presents the University faculty and staff a number of workshops on topics related to finance. A few of these subjects include training on things such as use of the Banner system for requisitions, Concur training for travel, and more. CITS

CITS serves the University with workshops each semester on a variety of tech-related topics to help faculty and staff do what they do a little bit better, including (but not limited to): lesser-known and/or hidden features of the latest OSes, state IT purchasing procedures, and voicemail setup.
