Coach/Instructor positions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s

ASU Department of Chemistry
and Physics has an immediate opening for a nine-month full-time
tenure-track position in Chemistry at the Assistant Professor
level that will begin in August 2008. Responsibilities:
teaching introductory and advanced level courses in chemistry,
which may include some of the following: Physical Chemistry,
General Physics, Optics, General Chemistry, Modern Physics,
Thermodynamics, Environmental Chemistry, Nuclear and Radio
Chemistry, etc. for both Chemistry and non majors, and an advanced
level course in a specialty area. The development of a research
program involving undergraduate and master degree level graduate

is required. The Department of Chemistry enjoys a relatively small
enrollment with an annual graduation rate among the highest in the

under construction and are expected to be fully functional in the

Responsibilities: Advises the Director of Athletics in the
