Blue Cross Blue Shield Braves for Fitness Program

6:30 - 7:20 p.m. Zumba Strength & Conditioning Spinning Cycle H.I.I.T.


Classes include:

  • Zumba: an aerobic fitness program featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance
  • Strength and Conditioning: a form of physical conditioning used to increase the ability to resist force (Free weight, resistant band, body weight exercise, etc.)
  • Spinning Cycle: a popular type of group exercise that brings a long, high energy bike ride indoors
  • High Intensive Interval Training (H.I.I.T): an enhanced form of interval training and exercise strategy of cardiovascular exercise

Classes are first come, first serve and will be limited to a certain number of participants. To participate, you must submit an registration form and complete a pre-fitness test prior to participation. There will be three days of orientation and pre-fitness tests in the Dance Room of the Whitney Complex: Wednesday, July 5 at 5:30 p.m., and Monday, July 10 at 5:30 p.m. Participants should wear tennis shoes and sports clothing for the pre-fitness test. Classes start July 5.
