The Alcorn Center for Rural Life and Economic Development (CRLED) was established through funds from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Business Cooperative Service in 1997. Established to assist in community and economic development in five Southwest Mississippi Counties: Adams Claiborne, Franklin, Jefferson, and Wilkinson.
