High School and Community College Day

COMPLIMENTARY LUNCH AND NO REGISTRATION FEE

Come see what’s waiting on you at Alcorn State University at the 2009 High School and Community College Day.  Administrators, faculty, staff and students will be available to answer all your questions concerning admissions, scholarships, financial aid, academic programs, extracurricular activities and the new Student Housing Development.  We look forward to seeing you on November 14.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES

8:00 - 9:00 a.m. — Registration will be at the E.E. Simmons Gymnasium, all students and chaperones will sign in and receive their wrist bands for complimentary lunch and ASU football game.

9:00 - 10:30 a.m. —General Assembly includes a talented D.J. and feature appearances from ASU Drum Line, ASU Gospel Choir, Greek strolls, plus giveaways. 

10:30 a.m. - 12:00 (noon) — Campus tours and showcase in the James L. Bolden Campus Union Ballroom featuring academic schools and departments as well representatives from the Financial Aid Office, the Business office and the Registrars Office.

12:00 - 2:00 p.m. — Lunch
      
2:00 p.m. — Alcorn State University Braves vs. Prairie View A&M; Jack Spinks’ stadium.
