How do I mail a package? 
Students and ASU employees may bring their packages to the ASUPO, located on the first floor in the J. L. Bolden Student Union.  Cash and the ASU Gold Card are accepted, with valid identification.  Alcorn State University Departments may use the Postal Services for all of their shipping needs. However, departments must attach their assigned Postal Authorization form to each mailing. Department mailing is for University Business only. 

Can I buy stamps at ASU?Students, faculty and staff may purchase stamps at the ASUPO. Cash and the ASU Gold Card are accepted with Valid Identification.

Where do students residing in University Housing pick up their mail? 

    • Students assigned to the Medgar Wiley Evers Heritage Village will be issued a mailbox in the Amenities Building.
    • Students residing in John Burrus, Albert Lott, Hiram Revels, Robinson and Female Honors Residence Halls will be issued a mailbox in the James L. Bolden Campus Union.

If a student has a package shipped to the University, how should it be addressed and where and when can I pick it up? 
Students residing on campus should use the following address format for all parcel deliveries regardless of carrier:

Parcel deliveries for students residing on campus can be picked-up at the ASUPO located on the first floor in the J. L. Bolden Student Union. Delivery notification will be placed in the student's mail box. A picture I.D. and delivery notice are required to claim shipments from the ASUPO.
