Welcome to the Alcorn State University Office of Financial Aid. We are eager to help you and your family understand our financial aid programs and to assist you in finding ways to meet your college costs. Financial aid is intended to help you finance your education when family and personal resources are not adequate to meet your educational costs. Financial aid consists of scholarships, grants, loans (which must be repaid), and part-time employment. Alcorn State makes every effort within its means to help all students with limited financial resources secure the funds needed to complete their educational goals.
