The University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine) is now accepting applications for our UC-HBCU Summer Research Program in Social Ecology. This Sumer Research Program is geared toward providing research experience in the social sciences for advanced undergraduate students currently attending HBCUs. Through this summer research program, we hope to provide an opportunity for students interested in psychology, criminology, sociology, and other social sciences to come to UC Irvine for 8 weeks in the summer and conduct research with our faculty.

Degree offerings in Patent Law

Notre Dame will begin offering a Certificate in Patent Law in Chicago in Fall 2014. The MS in Patent Law will continue to be offered at our campus in South Bend, IN.

To be eligible for either program, students must have a hard science (biology, chemistry, physics) or engineering background. Students already holding advanced degrees are especially encouraged to apply.

Starting in the 2014-2015 academic year, Notre Dame will offer a Certificate in Patent Law at our Chicago campus. Notre Dame will continue to offer the MS in Patent Law at our campus in South Bend, IN.

Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) in Cognitive Communications is now accepting applications. Develop cruicial research and job skills in the exciting field of wireless tecnology! Virginia Tech will be sponsoring 10 students for 10 weeks beginning May 27 and ending August 1, 2014. Read all about our student's success and experiences at under the 2013 archives.

Enter our annual contest called the Software Defined Radio Design Challenge. This contest is held during Virginia's Tech's annual Wireless Symposium and Summer School scheduled for May 28-30, 2014. This is an excellent opportunity for students to interact with other like-minded students, as well as corporations (and possible future employers). Awards will be given to the First, Second, and Third Place winners.
