Braves add Special Events to Final Two Home Games

Lorman, Miss. (October 22, 2013) – The 2013 Alcorn State football seniors and the 2013 Alcorn State Sports Hall of Fame honorees will be recognized during pregame festivities at the Nov. 2 game against Alabama A&M University. Military Day is still on for that weekend. Active and veteran military personnel can enter the game free at Gate 8 if they are in uniform or show military ID.

Alcorn Athletics announced It’s a White Out on a Braves Night Out for the Nov. 7 game against Prairie View A&M University. Support the Braves and wear your white t-shirts/sweatshirts. Educators with valid school ID, students under 18 and emergency personnel with ID or uniform — policemen, firemen, emergency medical technicians, paramedics — can enter the game free through Gate 8. All Alcorn faculty and staff members will be charged $5, which includes an invitation to the President’s Tailgate where free food will be served. Alumni will be charged $5 for game entrance, $5 parking and RV parking is $15.

The Show Me the Money Punt, Pass and Kick Competition will take center stage during halftime festivities. Two students will have the opportunity to win $500, money that will be added to their ASU Gold Cards.

Come out and support the Alcorn State Braves Football team as they try to close out the season with an undefeated home record!
