Ten low-income families in the Port Gibson area will have their houses made more energy efficient on Friday when volunteers from Entergy Mississippi, Inc., Entergy Nuclear and Alcorn State University team up to weatherize their homes for National Weatherization Week. The homes were chosen by the community action agency AJFC and Christian Volunteer Services, a United Way agency. Volunteers will focus on caulking, weather stripping, wrapping outdoor water heaters, installing incandescent light bulbs and more.
