Alcorn State University family is proud of Lisa Brown, a communications major from Chicago, Illinois for being selected the recipient of a $10,000.00 scholarship from the United Negro College Fund. 

“I feel honored and thankful to receive this scholarship!” stated Brown. “It has relieved a financial burden.”  

“UNCF awards are applied toward the students’ education expenses in accordance with federal regulations,” commented Director of Financial Aid Juanita McKenzie Russell.
