Alcorn receives six awards from the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi
Alcorn State University entered six award categories and received six awards in the senior division at the annual spring meeting of the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi (CPRAM). The association promotes excellence in public relations at public and private four- and two-year educational institutions in the state.
“Alcorn State University’s communications and marketing team works diligently to produce materials that will enhance and increase brand awareness for our institution,” says Associate Vice President for Marketing and University Relations Clara Ross Stamps, who accepted the awards on behalf of the University and the Office of University Relations. “These awards are possible because of strong, on-going collaborative relationships throughout the Alcorn community.”
At the awards luncheon, Alcorn received first place awards for the University’s viewbook, a tri-fold brochure and a student produced PSA; second place award for a recruitment brochure; and third place awards for a multi-media video and a brochure.
Leading marketing and public relations professionals from across the state gathered in Natchez, Mississippi for two days of intensive professional development. Mississippi’s four-year institutions compete in the senior division and community colleges in another division. Awards are presented for TV and radio spots, photography, university magazines, brochures, newsletters and admissions campaigns.
