About Student Activities
The Office of Student Activities primarily serves students and student groups on the main campus. The administrative office of student activities is located in the James L. Bolden Campus Union building on the 2nd floor. The activities for students offer a avenue for meeting other students, a means of developing leadership skills, serving others, and just having good - clean FUN.
Alcorn State University seeks to provide wholesome, cultural, and entertaining activities for its students; therefore, extra-curricular participation is encouraged as part of the overall learning process. The office of Student Activities serves to foster programs and activities that complement the academic program of studies and enhance the overall educational experience of students through development of, exposure to, and participation in social, cultural, academic, recreational, and governance programs.
