Become an ASU Gold Card Merchant

Thank you for your interest in the Alcorn State University Goldcard Program and your willingness to contribute to Alcorn State University. The Goldcard Program is a declining balance program that works almost like your regular debit card. This program permits students, faculty, and staff with funds available in their accounts to use their Identification Card/Goldcard to purchase goods and services from participating merchants.

Goldcard Application requirements:

In order to participate in the ASU Gold Card Program, the following steps must be completed:

  • Complete the ASU Gold Card Merchant Application  
  • Direct Deposit Form  
  • Vendor Maintenance Form
  • Current Business License
  • Receive approval from the University
  • Purchase/lease and install VeriFone VX570 card reader and printer
  • $300 Blackboard Software Fee.  Make check payable to Alcorn State University
  • Please return your Goldcard Application, a copy of your business permit and/or your food inspection report to:
