7-03-2010 ___ around hour 3:00 p.m. Unit 19 – Off.  J. Williams took report from Unit 15 – Off. I. Williams concerning an accident that he had on the Campus Police’s motor pad.  Off. Williams received some scratches on his elbow, shoulder and    knee

7-20-2010  ___  around hour 1:30 p.m. Unit 13 - Lt. A. Walker took report about a vehicle being damaged.  He stated that when he got off work he noticed damage to the front of his vehicle.

7-20-2010  ___  around hour 1:55 p.m. Unit 13 - Lt. A. Walker took report from a female student  another female student harassing her.  She stated that she has been calling her cell phone and showing up at her job.  

7-20-2010  ___  around hour 7:45 p.m. Unit 25 - Off. T. Thomas was dispatched to the Eunice Powell Building.  Upon arrival at Eunice Powell, the right side of the front door was broken.  A woman outside reported that her daughter was inside the building and she reported the incident. 

7-22-2010  ___  around hour 9:11 a.m. Unit 13 - Lt. A. Walker took report from staff  member stating that she has been receiving harassing calls from an unknown male.  Mrs. Thomas was at work at J.D. Boyd Library when this incident occurred.  She wrote the phone number down from where the call came from.

7-23-2010  ___  around 2:40 a.m. Unit 6 - Cpt. K. King took a report about people looking behind Mable Thomas.  There were a group of guys hanging around the dormitory and Cpt. King asked them to leave but instead they were disorderly.

7-27-2010  ___  around hour 12:31 a.m. Unit 34 - Sgt. K. Collins was dispatched to Dennis Circle for a mobile home fire.  When Officer Godley and I arrived at the scene, men wee standing outside the mobile Home. A body was found on the bathroom floor.

7-28-2010  ___  around hour 8:20 a.m. Unit 13 - Lt. A. Walker took report from staff person stating that an unknown male called her office phone once she got to work.  She wrote the phone number down that caller called from. 

7-28-2010  ___  around hour 7:15 p.m. Unit 25 - Off. Terris L. Thomas took report that a  staff member fell at Bowles Hall.  He reported that he was mopping on the third floor when this incident occurred. 

7-29-2010  ___  around hour 11:00 a.m. Unit 46 - Off. L. Davis was dispatched to the Laundry Dept. due to an accident.   A staff  member  reported that someone was cutting grass close by her Nissan and he noticed a rock struck her front glass in her vehicle.

8-2-2010  ___  around hour 8:04 a.m. Unit 34 - Sgt. K. Collins checked Burrus Hall for safety.  The front doors of the building can't be secured because the doors are not finished.  The buildings have furniture and cameras in it and students are walking through the building all hours of the night.

8-3-2010   ___  around hour 3:50 p.m. Unit 13 - Lt. A. Walker took concerning a special agent with the Task Force made drug sales on campus from several students.  Deputies Banks and Richardson came to transport  the suspect  to jail.

8-4-2010  ___  around hour 1:55 p.m. Unit 13 - Lt. A. Walker took report from a special agent with the Task Force concerning a drug sale from a student.  A warrant was signed by the Task Force Agent and given to Lt. A. Walker.  

8-5-2010 ___  around 11:30 a.m. Unit 46 - Off. L. Davis was dispatched to the Registrar's office to speak with  a student about someone calling and harassing her.

8-5-2010  ___  around hour 1:00 p.m. Unit 13 - Lt. A. Walker was dispatched to Eunice Powell to take a report of harassment.  She  stated that she received an obscene phone call from an unknown male.  The call was made from phone number (601) 597-6582.  

8-5-2010  ___  around hour 8:38 a.m. Unit 13 - Lt. A. Walker took report from concerning a harassing phone call.  She stated that the number did not show up on her caller I.D.  

8-10-2010  ___  around hour 12:31 p.m. Unit 5 - Cpt. R. Hammett was dispatched to a 10-50.

8-11-2010  ___ around hour 12:30 p.m. Unit 44 – Off. J. Godley was patrolling the campus and he noticed a green Mazda 626 with three male occupants, all were students and Off. Godley asked the driver to step out of the vehicle.  Off. Godley detected the scent of marijuana.   Off. K. Furnace – Unit and Off. C. Jones – Unit 25 assisted Off. J. Godley with the arrest of the three gentlemen. 

8-12-2010  ___ around hour 3:55 p.m. Unit 13 – Lt. A. Walker took report from a director concerning one of her employees was being stalked.

8-15-2010  ___ around 12:39 p.m. Unit 34 – K. Collins took report concerning a young man trying to assault  a woman  at the track field.   

8-17-2010  ___ around hour 00:00 a.m. Unit 4 – Maj. K. King made a report concerning curfew hours stating that the First Responders don’t have access to  enter into the dormitories.  Maj. King stated that we need to rectify this problem due to in case of emergency. 

8-17-2010  ___ around hour 01:05 a.m. Unit 4 – Maj. K. King took report on room 257 concerning a leak that derived from the toilet being stopped up.  The ceiling in room 157 is messed up from the leakage.  

8-18-2010  ___ around hour 2:30 p.m. Unit 13 – Lt. A. Walker took report from concerning theft of copper wire from Old Dining Hall Buliding. They wanted to look over the building before making a bid on the demolition of the building.   

8-20-2010  ___ around hour 12:25 p.m. Unit 3 – Col. C. Jackson  responded to a call from the Bio-Technology Green House. Upon arrival, Col. Jackson  stated that a student that works for the department accidently hit the Green House gate  with one of the university’s vehicles. 

8-21-2010  ___ around hour 11:29 p.m. A female student came to 700 and reported that her vehicle had been tampered with.  She was okay.  

8-22-2010  ___ around hour 4:00 p.m. Unit 3 – Col. C. Jackson took report from concerning the theft of $120.00 that was  stolen from a wallet. 

8-24-2010  ___ around hour 06:30 a.m. Unit 43 – Off. M. Bradley was dispatched to the laundry on ASU Campus.  Upon arrival, he was advised someone had vandalized the ASU laundry.  The intruder turned over tables and washing machines.

8-23-2010  ___ 2010 around hour 11:15 a.m. Unit 19 – Sgt. J. Williams responded to a 10-50 of a parked vehicle in the Albert Lott’s parking lot.  The left door was damaged. 

8-23-2010  ___  around hour 16:14 p.m. Unit 5 – Cpt. Hammett took  report about two stolen two tires.  The suspect returned the tires

8-25-2010  ___ around 2:27 p.m. Unit 3 – Col. C. Jackson responded to a staff person that she needed an officer at her office at the Physical Plant.  She reported that somebody tried to run her off the road  this morning. 

8-25-2010  ___around hour 9:00 a.m. Unit 13 – Lt. A. Walker  made  a report concerning the concert while conducting a search of a young man and found a  control substance on him.  He had 4 small bags of marijuana in his right cargo pocket.   

8-25-2010  ___ around hour 9:00 p.m. Unit 46 – Off. L. Davis was at the Whitney Complex working the concert.  A man entered the gym with marijuana scent on his clothing, Off. Davis checked him and found marijuana in his possession.

8-28-2010  ___ around hour 11:55 a.m. Unit 19 – Sgt. J. Williams was  dispatched to a 10-50. 

8-28-2010  ___around hour 1:30 p.m. Unit 5 – Capt. R. Hammett took report from the matron at Dorm A concerning a fight between Jordan and Sutton.  They were brought to Campus Policje to do a statement. 

8-28-2010  ___ around hour 3:35 p.m. Unit 3 – Col. Jackson took report concerning a missing gold card missing.  Someone used his gold card at the A.S.U. Service Station.  

8-28-2010  ___around hour 1:30 p.m. Unit 5 – Capt. R. Hammett took report from the matron at Dorm A concerning a fight.  They were brought to Campus Policje to do a statement. 

8-28-2010  ___ around hour 10:23 p.m. Unit 34 – Sgt. Collins was dispatched to Pizza Hut to talk with Ms. Lutch.  Sgt. Collins and Off. C. Jones went to  Pizza Hut and Ms. Lutch informed them that a young man wearing a red t-shirt with a  white t-shirt on his head.  The young did not pay for his food.  

8-29-2010  ___ around hour 8:30 p.m. Unit 14 – Off. K. Furnace was dispatched to Burrus Hall.  Upon arrival, Off. was told by the resident assistant that a  male student was in a verbal dispute with a female. He spat in her face.  She rode with Off. Furnace  to the police station to write a voluntary statement.

8-29-2010  ___ around hour 9:30 a.m. Unit 5 – Capt. Hammett took report from Unit 34 – Sgt. Collins about a door open at the cafeteria. It was stated  that the door had been broken for a while.

8-312010  ___ 2010 around hour 22:40 p.m. Unit 43 – Off. M. Bradley was dispatched to Robinson Hall. He was advised that someone had stolen a tan baseball bat from a room. 

8-31-2010  ___around hour 7:35 a.m. Unit 4 – Maj. Keith King took report some past occurrences that these young ladies are picking at her.

8-31-2010  ___around hour 5:55 p.m. Unit 13 – Lt. A. Walker took a report from  concerning several females harassing  her at the Sub-Connection.  She  stated that these young ladies wanted to fight her and after they left out of the buiding she thought they were waiting outside to fight her.

9-01-2010  ___around hour 23:15 p.m. Unit 23 – Off. C. Jones was dispatched to Jack’s Service Station.  Upon arrival, Ms. Jackson advised that she approached by a woamn who said that someone took  her belongings and her phone and threw it in the grass.

9-01-2010  ___around 2:58 p.m. Unit 46 – Off. L. Davis took  a report concerning her missing computer.  She stated she did not notice that it was missing until the first of September.  She also stated that when she moved to the new dorm, football players helped her to move.

9-02-2010  ___around hour 12:09 p.m. Unit 34 – Sgt. K. Collins gave report that the AMR (Ambulance Service) came on campus because student stated she called them because she had been in altercation with a young  man at CJ’s and hurt her hand.

9-03-2010  ___around 6:55 p.m. Unit 13 – Lt. A. Walker took report agold card was missing.  He stated that he went out to the Trace in Port Gibson and he had it in his possession at that time.  Lt. Walker advised him that he would have the gold card deactivated on  Tuesday morning.

9-03-2010  ___around hour 10:30 p.m. Unit 25 – Off. T. Thomas took report was dispatched to Robinson Hall where some guys were smoking.  The guys that were caught with marijuana.      

9-03-2010  ___around hour 6:59 a.m. Unit 25 – T. Thomas was dispatched to a house.  He was advised she heard a loud voice  outside her house at about 10:00 p.m. and she noticed egg shells together.  There were damages done to her garage.  

9-03-2010  ___around hour 8:15 a.m. Unit 6 – Lt. A. Walker took report concerning a harassing telephone call from 601-597-6582.  She stated that the caller made several disturbing statements to her.

9-05-2010  ___around hour 14:40 p.m. Unit 24 – Off. N. Johnson and  Off. B. Brown was patrolling behind the IT Building when they observed a Camaro parked in front of the tree.  There were two gentlemen sitting in the vehicle and as the  officers approached the vehicle they smelled the odor of marijuana.  The marijuana  was confiscated and turned into Col. Jackson.  

9-05-2010  ___around hour 4:15 a.m. a man came by 700 to report that he had a wreck on 552.  The dispatcher called Claiborne County Sheriff Department and advised them of the situation.  

9-05-2010  ___ around hour 6:40 p.m. Unit 23 – Off. B. Brown and  Unit 3 – Col. Jackson responded to a vandalism call. Upon arrival, they noticed a male  and two females that were standing on the side walk near the old dining hall.  Willie Mosley, Kee Yartta Smith, Jalon Knee Miller) were standing on the sidewalk  and were writing on the sidewalk with chalk 

9-05-2010  ___around hour 08:45 a.m. Unit 24 – Off. N. Johnson  and Off. K. Moore was patrolling the ASU Park when they observed two gentlemen  sitting in a white Crown Victoria (tag number 1572N12).  The officers took possession  of marijuana and the suspects were transported to Campus police station.   

9-08-2010  ___around hour 9:12 a.m. Unit 3 – Col. C. Jackson was dispatched to a 10-50 in the New Dorm parking lot.

9-08-2010  ___around hour 2:30 p.m. Unit 34 – Sgt. R. Hammett ook report from the Physical Plant about a young lady reported a man was stalking her.  Cpt. Hammett and Sgt. J. Williams responded to the call.

 9-09-2010  ___around hour 12:30 a.m. Unit 23 – Off. B. Brown was dispatched  to a call concerning a student getting water poured on him.  Once Off. Brown arrived, she talked    to some students  were sitting on the steps of the Old Dining Hall.  She stated six black subjects were on the roof of the building and they were  pouring water on them. 
 9-11-2010  ___around hour 10:10 p.m.  Unit 25 – Off. T. Thomas received  a call that the Dean needed an officer at Robinson Hall.  When Unit 20 – Off. T. Earls and Off. Thomas arrived and found Mr. Brooks with the Dean.  Mr. Brooks reported that a theft had taken  place in his dorm room.
9-11-2010  ___around hour 11:40 a.m. Unit 19 – Sgt.  J. Williams  was on cafeteria duty when the bus driver took sick and she advised that her left arm andshoulder were hurting..  Sgt. Williams asked her if she needed an ambulance and she responded yes.
 9-13-2010  ___around hour 6:30 p.m. Unit 24 – Off. N. Johnson and Unit 46 – Off. L. Davis was patrolling in front of Clinton Bristow Dining Hall and observed two male students walking on the sidewalk and they were smoking a cigar with marijuana in  it.  They were transported to Alcorn State University Campus Police and held for evidence.
 9-13-2010  ___around hour 11:00 a.m. Unit 22 – Off. C. Lewis responded to  a 10-50 involving Karmeen Pittman and Gregory Thomas.  Ms. Pittman backed into Mr. Thomas’s vehicle.
 9-13-2010  ___around hour 8:20 p.m. Unit 4 – Maj. K. King responded to a  call at WCI when Unit 43 – Off. M. Bradley and Unit 25 – Off. T. Thomas found marijuana on a  student and he was placed under arrest and transported to Claiborne County Jail.
 9-14-2010  ___around hour 13:00 a.m. Unit 23 – Off. B. Brown and Unit 4 – Maj. King assisted Dean Horton on a dorm check at Albert Lott.  The officers found female in a male room and she was advised to leave the premises.
 9-14-2010  ___around hour 01:00 a.m. Unit 4 – Maj. K. King and Unit 23 – Off. B. Brown assisted Dean Horton with dorm check at Albert Lott and found in  a room  a small dog lying next to the bed on the floor.  Maj. King confiscated the dog and took him to the police station

09-13-2010 ___ 2010 around hour 10:10 p.m. Unit 3 – Col. C. Jackson took report from a student concerning a verbal altercation.  Col. Jackson informed her that if any more problems occurred to be sure to contact Campus Police.

09-14-2010 ___ around hour 01:30 a.m. Unit 43 – Off. M. Bradley was dispatched to Albert Lott for a room check.  After checking, Off. M. Bradley found a female  in one of the rooms.

09-14-2010 ___ around hour 10:19 p.m. Unit 23 – Off. B. Brown and Unit 21 - Off. K. Moore responded to a possible robbery at Mable Thomas Dormitory. The officers talked to a student and he stated that several items were missing out of his room.

09-14-2010 ___ around hour 12:30 a.m. Unit 23 – Off. B. Brown and Unit 4 – Maj. K. King was checking ID’s and decals at Welcome Center 1 when they stopped a gray Altima. When Maj. King asked the driver to let his window down, he immediately smelled the odor of alcohol.  Off. T. Thomas and Off. K. Brown searched the vehicle and found a 40 caliber pistol.  Off. Bradley transported him to Claiborne County Jail for possession of a fire arm on             campus.

09-14-2010 ___2010 around hour 12:00 p.m. Unit 5 – Cpt. R. Hammett took report from a student concerning her ex-roommate. She stated that her ex-roommate has been picking at her.

09-15-2010 ___2010 around hour 11:06 a.m. Unit 5 – Cpt. R. Hammett took report from a student concerning someone harassing her by telephone and e-mail.  She stated she informed law enforcement in Memphis, TN.

09-16-2010 ___ around hour 11:00 a.m. Unit 5 – Cpt. R. Hammett was dispatched to a 10-50. Vehicle 1 backed into vehicle 2 causing damage to front grill and bumper.

09-15-2010 ___ around hour 2:55 p.m. Unit 3 – Col. C. Jackson took report from a student concerning someone hitting her vehicle the day before. 

09-16-2010 ___ around hour 12:22 p.m. Unit 46- Off. L. Davis was dispatched to the laundry mat concerning a vehicle being hit.  After arriving on the scene, Off. Davis spoke with a woman who knew who hit her vehicle and left his phone number with her.

09-16-2010 ___ around hour 22:30 p.m. Unit 16 – Off. C. Jones took report from a student about  someone harassing her.  This a second report made and the previous report was taken by Cpt. R. Hammett.

09-16-2010 ___ around hour 12:22 p.m. Unit 46- Off. L. Davis was dispatched to the laundry mat concerning a vehicle being hit.  After arriving on the scene, Off. Davis spoke with a woman who knew who hit her vehicle and left his phone number with her.

09-16-2010 ___ around hour 22:30 p.m. Unit 16 – Off. C. Jones took report from a student about  someone harassing her.  This a second report made and the previous report was taken by Cpt. R. Hammett.

09-16-2010 ___ around hour 11:06 a.m. Unit 5 – Cpt. R. Hammett took report from a student concerning someone harassing her by telephone and e-mail.  She stated she informed law enforcement in Memphis, TN.

09-16-2010 ___ around hour 11:00 a.m. Unit 5 – Cpt. R. Hammett was dispatched to a 10-50 involving 2 vehicles  causing damage to front grill and bumper.

09-17-2010 ___ around hour 21:55 p.m. Unit 22 – Off. C. Lewis was dispatched to a 10-50.

09-19-2010 ___ around hour 20:10 p.m. Unit 4 – Maj. K. King took report at Robinson Hall concerning a break-in two rooms.

09-19-2010 ___ around hour 11:54 a.m. Unit 3 – Col. C. Jackson took a report concerning a womas student  moving out of the room with her.  She stated that this woman took jewelry and cleaning materials.

09-19-2010 ___ around hour p.m. Unit 13 – Lt. A. Walker took report from a student concerning several females harassing her while she was in            Sub-Connection.  She stated that these young ladies wanted to fight her and after they left out of the building she thought they were waiting outside to fight her.

09-19-2010 ___ around hour 5:30 p.m. Ms. Cheryl Kariuki called to report that the building next to the Vicksburg Alcorn office caught fire and caused smoke damage to the Vicksburg office.  Assistant Chief Stewart responded to the call.

9-21-2010 ___ around hour 11:40 a.m. Unit 3 – Col. C. Jackson took report from a staff member concerning his university cell phone was lost during his out of state travel. 

9-21-2010 ___ around hour 00:28 a.m. Unit 23 – Off. C. Jones took report from a student stating that her laptop computer had been stolen and that was the only thing that was stolen.

 

 

 

9-22-2010 ___ around hour 23:17 p.m. Unit 43 – Off. M. Bradley was dispatched to Burrus Hall, second floor and found a student on the floor.      She was transported to Claiborne County Hospital.

9-22-2010 ___ around hour 1:50 p.m. Unit 6 – Lt. A. Walker took report from an employee of Sodexo-Pizza Hut concerning students committing fraud. 

9-22-2010 ___ around hour 11:50 a.m. Unit 1 – Chief Maxwell     pulled over a vehicle for erratic driving.  Chief Maxwell stated that her driver’s license is suspended and her license plate is expired and she was taken to Claiborne County Jail.

9-25-2010 ___ 2010 around hour 6:45 p.m. Unit 23 – Off. B. Brown reported that there were a group of guys in a disturbance. 

9-25-2010 ___ around hour 00:40 a.m. Unit 7 – Sgt. K. Collins took report from a student concerning the theft of his laptop computer, external monitor, speaker system, and flash drive.  He stated his roommate misplaced his keys. 

9-26-2010 ___ around hour 11:55 a.m. a resident counsellor called Campus Police for an officer.  Unit 5 – Sgt. R. Hammett responded to the call and upon his arrival they went to the room 352 there were three young men were in her room and they were had spent the night.

09-28-2010 ___ around hour 8:15 p.m. Unit 23 – Off. B. Brown pulled over a vehicle  for loud music.  The driver also had very little marijuana with him.  (see report for more details).

09-29-2010 ___ around hour 7:25 p.m. Unit 23 – Off. B. Brown and Sgt. J. Williams dispatched to the Fine Arts building and talked to a student who said her boyfriend ASU employee, was “messing with her”.  He had been drinking an causing a disturbance.  (see report for more details).

09-29-2010 ___. Unit 12 – Off. L. Davis took a hit and run accident  report.  He said his vehicle was hit while he was in the dining hall parking lot between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. (see report for more details).

09-30-2010 ___ around hour 7:20 p.m. Unit 21 – Off. K. Moore Asst.  took a statement from and student, who had items stolen from his dorm room.  (see report for more details).

09-30-2010 ___ around hour 11:15 p.m. Unit 3 – Col. C. Jackson  took the report that involved Fire Chief White being hit in the back of the police.  Minor damage was done to the vehicle.  (see report for more details).

09-30-2010 ___ around hour 3:27 a.m. Unit 23 – Off. B. Brown made a report concerning an arrest for petty larceny for taking food from pizza hut.  (see report for more details).
