Student National Education Association (SNEA)
The NEA Student Program known as SNEA is a preprofessional organization of undergraduate and graduate students preparing for careers in education. Being a member of SNEA, students have access to many benefits that will help them through their teaching careers. Students who join this organization also become a part of an educational professional network of state association of educators, known as the National Education Association. NEA serves in shaping the nation's education agenda. Moreover, SNEA was implemented at Alcorn State University during Spring 2013 under the leadership of Dr. Arnetta Crosby, advisor of the organization.
