Campus Listening Sessions scheduled for Mississippi University for Women, Alcorn State University
Members of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning will hear from the Mississippi University for Women (MUW) campus community in Campus Listening Sessions on Friday, September 14, 2018, and from the Alcorn State University (ASU) campus community on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. The discussions will center on the qualities and qualifications stakeholders believe the next institutional executive officer should possess.
The MUW Campus Listening Sessions will begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 4:45 p.m. on the campus located at 1100 College Street in Columbus. While all sessions are open to the public, each session focuses on the needs of a specific constituency group.
The ASU Campus Listening Sessions will begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 4:45 p.m. on the campus located at 1000 ASU Drive in Lorman. While all sessions are open to the public, each session focuses on the needs of a specific constituency group.
“I hope that all students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members at both universities will join us and share with us the type of leader they want to lead their universities,” said Trustee Shane Hooper, Chair of the Board of Trustees. “We are committed to identifying the best individual to lead each of these universities.”
