Returning to Graduate School After A Break
Have you been an inactive student for one or more semesters and plan to return to graduate school? If your answer is 'yes', there are a few important things you need to know.
A degree-seeking student in good standing who enorlls each semester without an interruption in attendance, is considered a continuing student. Degree students who have a break or gap in their program of study, and upon their intent to return, must comply with any curriculum changes in the academic and degree requirements.
If a student has not registered continuously, the student must reapply for admission. The Office of Graduate Studies will review the student's academic history after receipt of the application to inform the student if additional credentials are needed.
