Tuition and Fees

  • Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 Tuition and Fees
    Tuition yearly costs are published that apply to each semester during the academic year. Separate costs are published for the summer terms. Graduate students are permitted to enroll in a maximum of 12 semester hours during the academic year and six (6) hours per summer term. The chart for Fall and Spring tuition publishes charges up to nine hours. Students enrolling in 12 semester hours must add an additional $1,146 for the additional three hours. Residential students will also incur additional fees for housing accommodations.


  • Statement of Finances (International Students)
    Yearly fees are published to inform prospective graduate students of tuition and living costs for attending Alcorn State University in compliance with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Students must submit an Affidavit of Support and Bank Statement to attest to financial support to attend school in the United States. These documents cannot be older than three weeks at time of application for admission.


  • Graduation Application Fee
    A $50 graduation application fee is charged for Fall and Spring Commencement. Published deadlines are announced each semester of timelines to pay this fee. Students applying late are affixed a $100 application fee. The graduation application fee must be paid to clear for posting of degree for Commencement.
