Scholarships and Band Grants

Scholarships

Music scholarships are available to talented students pursuing degrees in music. Music scholarships range from partial to full (excluding books) and are based on auditions and specific needs of the Department of Fine Arts. Students receiving music scholarships must major in music. Contact the department for additional information.

Band and Choir Scholarship Grants

Band and Choir Scholarship Grants are available to talented students and are based on audition results and specific needs of the band and choir. Contact the Director of Bands or Choirs for additional information.

Scholarship awards are reviewed at the end of the spring semester. Renewal of financial aid is based on availability of funding and student performance, i.e. making satisfactory progress towards completing degree requirements, having no infractions, good standing with the university, and participating in departmental activities, particularly rehearsals and performances.
