Salutations! On behalf of the Alcorn State University National Alumni Association-Metro Atlanta Alumni Chapter, Inc., it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the 45th Annual Mid-Winter Conference scheduled for March 3-6, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia. We are honored to host this event and look forward to seeing you in the Peach State.
Our Chapter is working diligently to “Raise the Bar” and make this conference the best one yet. In keeping with our theme, “Embracing Our History and Ensuring Our Future,” the conference will celebrate the legacy and rich traditions of Alcorn State University and acknowledge the 150th Sesquicentennial of our beloved Alma Mater.
We are excited to announce that alumnus John E. White ‘85, Vice-President of the Mid-Atlantic Region for Sodexo, will be our Legacy Luncheon speaker and The Reverend Dr. Raphael G. Warnock, the 1st African American Senator elected from Georgia and Senior Pastor of the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta will be our GALA speaker.
Please join us to discuss alumni business, rekindle friendships, re-engage with classmates, and mingle with alumni from near and afar. Also, we hope will explore Atlanta and all that it has to offer. We encourage you to register early as we anticipate that a record number of Alcornites, families, friends, and supporters will attend the Mid-Winter Conference 2022. See you soon.
